Dario Sammartino nel super Plo High Roller da 25mila $ alle Wsop di Las Vegas
Ha 190.500 chips e vola al Day2 di uno degli eventi più ricchi mai giocati finora in questa edizione delle World Series of Poker 2021. E che Dario Sammartino sia ormai iper competitivo anche nelle varianti è noto e si è visto quando ha centrato tantissimi risultati in tutti i mixed game negli ultimi campionati del mondo e anche a livelli altissimi. E Super Dario sta giocando un super torneo come l’Event #53: $25,000 Pot-Limit Omaha High Roller comandato da Eric Kurtzman, reg di Las Vegas, che ha concluso il Day 1 con un grande vantaggio in termini di chip mentre cerca di guadagnare il suo primo braccialetto delle World Series of Poker. Un torneo ricchissimo da 170 entries e oltre 40 milioni di dollari di montepremi. Dario, invece, va per il poker di cash e, il sogno, sarebbe anche un braccialetto che al suo polso ci starebbe assai bene. Come detto Kurtzman ha concluso la giornata con uno stack di 773,500 gettoni, seduto comodamente davanti ad altri big stack come Joseph Cheong (592,000), Yuval Bronshtein (580.000), Shaun Deeb (566,500), Martin Dam (530,500) e Dylan Weisman (505.000).
Kurtzman ha raccolto $569.668 in carriera alle Wsop anche se una grossa fetta di questi soldi arriva dal terzo posto nell’Event #16 $10,000 Limit Hold’em Championship per $108.747.
Tra i qualificati c’è Deeb che vuole vincere l’evento pot-limit Omaha da $25.000 per la seconda volta dopo aver primeggiato nel 2018 per $1.402.683. Weisman, nel frattempo, è alla ricerca del suo secondo braccialetto della serie dopo aver conquistato l’Event #28: $1,000 Pot-Limit Omaha per $166.461.
Il campione in carica Stephen Chidwick, che ha vinto l’evento nel 2019, potrebbe ancora arrivare per difendere il suo titolo visto che è il più recente winner visto che la late reg durerà per i primi due livelli di gioco.
Il gioco del Day 1 è durato dieci ore e si è concluso alla conclusione del Livello 10. In gioco ci sono anche Daniel Negreanu, Scott Seiver, David Benyamine, Anthony Zinno, Erik Seidel, Chance Kornuth, Sam Sovrano e Simon Lofberg.
Chi non ce l’ha fatta è stato Jeremy Ausmus, oltre a James Chen, Randy Ohel, Josh Arieh, Jeff Gross e Ayaz Mahmood.
Dario tornerà a giocare stasera dalle 23 ora italiana e alle 14 a Las Vegas. Si giocheranno altri 10 livelli.
