Even in the hottest month of the year, the positive trend of casino games (in technical terms, fixed-odds games of chance and solitaire card games) with a regular license to operate in Italy, continues. In August, according to the processing of Gioconews.it on operator data, the expense was of €193,536,667, an amount that is obtained by subtracting from the net movement, €4,904,518,976, what was returned to the players in the form of wins, i.e. €4,710,982,304. The overall bets were 58,753. Compared to the same month in 2022, the increase in the expense was of 13.5 percent.
MARKET SHARES - Analyzing the market shares, the supremacy of Gbo Italy Spa emerges (born from the fusion between Lottomatica and Goldbet), the result of two separate concessions for a total of 15.18 percent. Snaitech Spa is on the second step of the podium with 8.43 percent, closely followed by Sisal Italia Spa with 8.37 percent. The online market shares of physical casinos are very limited and the performance of Oia Services Srl is to be reported.
