SBC is excited to announce that the shortlists for the 10th-anniversary edition of the SBC Awards 2023<\/strong> ceremony, taking place as part of the SBC Summit Barcelona<\/strong> in September, have now been decided.<\/p>\n

The shortlists feature some of the industry's finest, acknowledging outstanding performance by various operators, affiliates, suppliers and leaders. Betsson Group<\/strong> leads with an impressive nine nominations, closely followed by Sportradar<\/strong>, 1xBet<\/strong>, and Evoplay<\/strong>, each securing seven nominations. Kaizen<\/strong> Gaming<\/strong> boasts six nominations, while OpenBet<\/strong>, CreedRoomz<\/strong>, and Novibet<\/strong> each earn five nominations.<\/p>\n

The 2023 edition of the awards attracted a record number of entries, giving the independent judging panel the tough task of shortlisting for the 39 categories. <\/p>\n

The prestigious ceremony crowning the winners will take place on Thursday, 21st September,<\/strong> the final day of the SBC Summit Barcelona, at the iconic Caves<\/strong> Codorníu<\/strong>, the oldest leading cava company in Spain. <\/p>\n

In the affiliate awards categories, BetanDeal<\/strong>, Betting<\/strong> Hero<\/strong>, casino.online<\/strong>, Checkd<\/strong> Group<\/strong>, Gambling.com Group<\/strong>, and XLMedia<\/strong> have all received nominations in two out of the three existing categories – Affiliate Product Innovation<\/em>, Casino Affiliate of the Year<\/em>, and Sports Affiliate of the Yea<\/em>r. Notably, last year's winners, Gambling.com Group<\/strong> for Casino Affiliate of the Year<\/em> and Better Collective<\/strong> for Sports Affiliate of the Year<\/em>, are once again competing for the respective titles.<\/p>\n

Twelve operators<\/strong> will vie for the coveted Casino Operator of the Year<\/em> award, and last year's winner, Betsson<\/strong> Group<\/strong> will be among the nominees. In the Sportsbook Operator of the Year<\/em> category, eleven companies, including last year's trophy holder bet365<\/strong>, will compete for the prize, while Betsson<\/strong> Group<\/strong>, Kaizen Gaming<\/strong>, LeoVegas<\/strong> Group<\/strong>, Novibet<\/strong>, and Sisal Italia SpA<\/strong> have been nominated for both awards.<\/p>\n

Other operator categories encompass Esports Operator of the Year<\/em>, Best Affiliate Program<\/em>, Eastern European\/Western European\/Northern European\/Southern European Operator of the Year<\/em>, Rising Star in Sports Betting\/Casino<\/em>, Innovation in Casino & Gaming Entertainment<\/em>, and Marketing Campaign of the Year<\/em>.<\/p>\n

In the three Payment & Compliance<\/strong> categories – Fraud & Compliance Solution of the Year<\/em>, Payment Innovation of the Year<\/em>, and Payment Solution of the Year<\/em> – Aircash<\/strong>, MiFinity<\/strong>, Trustly<\/strong>, OKTO<\/strong>, and Pay4Fun<\/strong> have each been shortlisted twice. Last year's winners, Trustly<\/strong> (Payment Innovation of the Year<\/em> & Payment Solution of the Year<\/em>) and IDnow<\/strong> (Fraud and Compliance Solution of the Year<\/em>) are once again in contention for the same categories.<\/p>\n

In the supplier categories, the Casino\/Slots Developer of the Year <\/em>category features 16 game developers vying for the coveted trophy. The shortlist includes submissions from companies such as Amusnet<\/strong>, Endorphina<\/strong>, Pragmatic<\/strong> Play<\/strong>, Yggdrasil<\/strong>, and Relax Gaming<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Sportsbook Supplier of the Year <\/em>category boasts 12 nominees, while there are 16 more categories recognising acquisition and retention partners, esports suppliers, industry innovation, land-based betting & gaming products, live casino suppliers, multi-channel suppliers, platform solutions, sports data products, virtual sports suppliers, white label solutions, and marketing & services providers.<\/p>\n

Additionally, there will be two rising star categories (Rising Star in Casino Innovation<\/em> and Rising Star in Sports Betting Innovation<\/em>) acknowledging up-and-coming players who are making a significant impact in the industry.<\/p>\n

In the Operator & Supplier Awards, Betsson<\/strong> Group<\/strong>, Bragg<\/strong> Gaming<\/strong>, Entain<\/strong> Foundation<\/strong> US<\/strong>, EPIC Risk Management<\/strong>, Mindway<\/strong> AI<\/strong>, OPAP<\/strong> and Videoslots<\/strong> are all contenders for the Socially Responsible Initiative of the Year<\/em> award.<\/p>\n

The Leader of the Year <\/em>award will be contested by 19 industry leaders from companies like Flutter International<\/strong>, Greentube<\/strong>, Sportingtech<\/strong>, PIN-UP Global<\/strong> and Evoplay<\/strong>.
