Sigma Eurasia’s highly anticipated Dubai event is just around the corner – held once again at the Festival arena by the intercontinental hotel Festival City, there’s plenty to see and do! To help you navigate the event with ease, here’s a handy guide to make sure you don’t miss a thing.<\/p>\n

Plan your trip<\/strong><\/p>\n

Visiting Dubai for the first time? The Plan Your Trip page on the Sigmawebsite is designed to help make your stay a breeze. From recommendations to travel tips, we’ve distilled the essentials for your convenience.<\/p>\n

Dubai’s Festival city (Dfc) is known for great nights out, and with so many of our networking events taking place here, Dfc should be your first port of call when it comes to accommodation. Our partner hotels include the Intercontinental, the Crowne llaza and holiday inn Dubai Festival city. <\/p>\n

Check out the full list of all our partner hotels on our website. Ensure your passport is valid, and be sure to check whether you require a visa to enter the Uae.<\/p>\n

Getting to the event<\/strong><\/p>\n

We’ve taken all the necessary steps to make your journey to the expo and conference as hassle-free as possible. The Festival arena by the Intercontinental hotel festival city is also accessible by Rta buses and water taxis, as well as by metro from the Creek Metro Station which is just 5 km away. <\/p>\n

Stay in the know<\/strong><\/p>\n

Don’t miss last minute changes – stay up-to-date with all the latest updates through Sigma’s official social media channels and the official Sigma Eurasia podcast. <\/p>\n

Beat the queues<\/strong><\/p>\n

Pre-registration will be available to delegates at the InterContinental Dubai festival city – Vista Lounge on Sunday, February 25th, from 10:00 to 22:00. Have your ticket handy, a digital version is enough and don’t forget to have a form of identification with you. Join the networking drinks and break the ice with fellow delegates from 18.00pm onwards.<\/p>\n

Travel in style <\/strong><\/p>\n

Whichever route you take we’re pleased to announce that we will have a shuttle bus service available. Catch one of 2 shuttle coaches on the 26th and 27th from the Intercontinental Hotel running every half hour between 8.30 am and 18.30 pm. Alternatively hop on at the Holiday Inn Hotel. When it comes to taxis, the 2 most popular taxi apps are Careem and Uber Uae. <\/p>\n

Tips and Tricks <\/strong><\/p>\n

The Dirham (Aed) is the official currency in Dubai, credit cards are widely accepted. Stay updated on COVID-19 travel guidelines, as they may change. Take note of emergency numbers, most importantly: 998 for ambulances, 997 for fire related emergencies, and 911 for the police. Don’t forget your power adapter: Type G plus are used in Dubai. <\/p>\n
