Organisers of the co-located EAG Expo, incorporating SIE Expo and the London Casino & Gaming Show (ExCeL London, 13th – 15th January) <\/strong>are investing in the at show visitor experience and enhancing exhibitor ROO (Return On Objectives) with the development of an event specific mobile app, exhibitor platform, back-end event portal, mobile ticket wallet and navigation tool.<\/p>\n

Developed by events app specialists Sitka whose apps have been downloaded by 420,000+ visitors<\/strong>, the digital event companion contains everything that attendees need to know in order to optimise their at-show experience including exhibitor and product directories, a personalised events schedule, dynamic information updates as well as an interactive show floor plan.<\/p>\n

From an exhibitor perspective the app provides the facility to schedule appointments with visitors, secure elevated stand-out branding and generate visitor traffic and density.<\/p>\n

The app will go live in September providing exhibitors and visitors with an invaluable opportunity<\/strong> to engage up to four months ahead of the three co-located shows opening in London.<\/p>\n

Phil Gibbs who is responsible for Exhibition Support at EAG<\/strong> said: “The app delivers a tool kit of features which will enhance the experience for everyone participating at EAG Expo, SIE Expo and the London Casino & Gaming Show. <\/p>\n

“I road-tested the platform at the recent Food and Drink Show in Birmingham<\/strong> and I can vouch for its ease of use and capabilities. It will be seamlessly integrated with our website and registration systems, in the process delivering a powerful new marketing tool for exhibitors and an invaluable digital companion for visitors. All exhibitors will be listed on the app but there’s also a raft of commercial opportunities for those wishing to secure an enhanced presence.”<\/p>\n

EAG Show Director Nicola Lazenby, who has 29 years of experience working <\/strong>in the events sector added: “During our programme of meetings with exhibitors following the 2025 shows the introduction of a show app was highlighted as being a welcome development.<\/p>\n

“Based on that feedback we’ve researched the market extensively, drawn on the experience of contacts working in the events industry and identified what I believe is an excellent tech partner in Sitka. <\/p>\n

“As our shows continue to grow so does the importance of providing an enhanced event experience. The EAG app represents a powerful all-in-one engagement platform which will maximise the commercial opportunities of being a part of what is the UK’s leading b2b expo <\/strong>for the out of home entertainment industry.”<\/p>\n

The 2025 edition of EAG Expo which comprised 100-stands occupying 4,958 square metres of space registered a third consecutive year of growth. The number of unique visitors rose to 4,306, a 23 percent year-on-year increase.
