Merkur Gaming takes Gold with AGEM

Merkur Gaming has taken a further step in consolidating the company’s status as a Tier One gaming manufacturer by upgrading its membership of the Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers (Agem).

The Merkur Gaming membership upgrade application was approved unanimously at AGEM’s Monthly Board/Membership meeting, held in Las Vegas on April 12th, and now takes immediate effect.

“This is a positive and important step for Merkur Gaming” noted Charles Hiten, the company’s Chief Executive for the Americas. “Our success, particularly across Latin America, is the springboard for our expansion into new markets and for our move into both Tribal Government and State regulated gaming in the United States of America. Against that background it is both timely and logical that we now become a Gold Member of AGEM. Merkur Gaming undertakes to play a full role within AGEM as we increase our activities and continue to build our brand in these exciting markets.”

AGEM Executive Director Marcus Prater said: “AGEM celebrates Merkur Gaming’s move to the Gold Member level based on company revenue and welcomes the company to an impressive list consisting of the most respected licensed and regulated gaming companies in the world.”

Merkur Gaming is part of one of the greatest and most respected names in gaming, the Gauselmann Group, is the largest manufacturer of electronic gaming machines in Germany, has subsidiary company offices throughout Latin America and, in the United States of America, is located in Deerfield Beach, Florida.
