By the end of 2022, the industry is forecast to grow by 19%, reaching just under USD 100 billion Gross Gaming Revenue. The growth in Europe's online gaming market is expected to continue, having been accelerated by the pandemic which saw a large increase in online entertainment-seeking activity.

Eventus International will be hosting 5 events in Europe next year, with the goal of informing fellow attendees and participants about how to take advantage of this exponential growth to improve their individual and business success.

Earlier this year, European Gaming and Betting Association Secretary General, Maarten Haijer, was quoted as stating that there is still significant scope for online development in markets such as France and Germany, where the online share of the total gaming market is still relatively small despite the online markets in these countries being relatively mature.

This will be a key talking point at the iGaming Germany event from 6 - 7 June 2023 and the Paris Payments Expo from 29 - 30 August, which will be taking place in Munich and Paris respectively.

iGG 2023 will also be the perfect event for iGaming professionals to enter the new market and turn future opportunities into possibilities, while Ppe 2023 seeks to involve all C-level payments professionals from around the world in exchanging knowledge, providing a wow-factor exhibition floor and networking with others in their field.

Prior to these events, the 5th Annual Cyprus Gaming Show will be taking place from 23 – 24 May 2023 in Limassol, Cyprus. The summit will showcase on-trend presentations with a focus on navigating the current regulations in the region. Legislation governing Cyprus' gaming sector is extremely disjointed, with multiple authorities and regulations overseeing various types of gaming. Topics like this and other will be explored in-depth.

Later in 2023, the 3rd Annual Gaming and Affiliate Marketing event will take place from 19 – 20 October in Athens, Greece. Here, selected industry experts will deliver presentations on market entry strategy, an action plan for responsible gaming in Greece, panel discussions on successful affiliate marketing strategies as well as highlight the latest gaming regulatory framework in the region.

Finally, the 5th Annual Scandinavian Gaming Show will be in Stockholm, Sweden from 16 – 17 November 2023. With a per capita gaming spend that is among the highest in the world, the Scandinavian region offers profitable potential for online gaming and other gaming verticals. Several developments across the Nordic nations have taken place in the last few months which position the region as a focal point for the gaming industry, globally. These opportunities will feature heavily on the agenda at this event.
