Awp 3: here are the technical rules for new generation of gaming machines in Italy
As disclosed yesterday by Gioconews.it, the intermanagerial decree – of the Agency's deputy manager in agreement with the Chief of Police - was published on the institutional website of Customs and Monopolies Agency, area AAMS, about the new technical rules of production of apparatus and devices for amusement and entertainment (cd Slots machines) in the art. 110, paragraph 6, letter a) of Tulps.

The provision is aimed "to introduce innovative mechanisms and security systems to limit the chance of frauds, to the advantage and protection of legality, of players and minors. In particular, the decree introduces for the future production of devices: the activation of systems for recognition of legal age for a more effective protection against juvenile gaming; the need for certification of every single gaming board produced and included in the devices to be installed in the territory; the system of preventive identification of all persons authorized to the maintenance of devices, recording every intervention made on the device. The realization provisions will be contained in an executive decree issued soon, aimed, among other things, to determine rules and timing of rotation between the existing devices and the new generation of devices that will gradually replace the machines existing at present, giving in this way greater security to the whole field" the Monopolies affirm.
