Gtech is bringing gaming to life in Germany with Sphinx 3d
Following its international debut at the GTECH booth at ICE Totally Gaming 2014 (ICE), with visitors queuing up to catch a glimpse of the amazing True3D™ technology, the demand for GTECH’s SPHINX 3D™ machines is high.

The Spielbanken Bayern group in Germany is the first customer at ICE to sign a deal for several SPHINX 3D machines, which will be placed in each of their nine casinos.
SPHINX 3D is the first title in GTECH’s new SPIELO True 3D product line, which uses a glasses-free 3D display designed exclusively for GTECH for the gaming industry. It uses a unique, patented autostereoscopic technology with integrated eye-tracking to make images jump off the screen or stretch into infinity in high resolution. SPHINX 3D runs on the new AXXIS™ cabinet, which is designed to maximize player comfort, create a sense of personal space, and immerse the player in the game.

SPHINX 3D has taken the industry by storm. Since its global launch at G2E Las Vegas in October 2013, GTECH has received three awards for this innovative product: First Place: Best Slot Product award at the Global Gaming Business (GGB) 12th Annual Gaming & Technology Awards; the 2014 Slot Floor Technology Award by Casino Enterprise Management Magazine; and the Top 20 Most Innovative Gaming Technology Products 2013 by Casino Journal.
