Sammartino ancora a secco alle Wsop 2021 centra il Day2 del Nlh Freezeout con Curcio
Quando si alza il buy in i numeri alle World Series of Poker 2021 non esplodono. Certo, un Freezeout No Limit Hold’em 8 Handed da 421 entries da 5mila dollari di buy in non si vede tutti i giorni nel mondo. Un montepremi da quasi 2 milioni di dollari e 64 posti pagati. In mezzo agli 82 players che hanno passato il guado del primo giorno di gara c’è Dario Sammartino che ha imbustato il 15esimo stack con la bellezza di 379.000 chips dentro mentre il chip leader è Jamie Sequeira che supera il milione di chips staccando nettamente Benjamin Chalot a quota 733.000. Benissimo Daniel Negreanu in quarta posizione con la bellezza di 617mila chips.
Field importantissimo con Tony Miles, Jerry Wong, Alexandre Read e Jose Ignacio Barbero. Tutti questi reg sono davanti a Super Dario, mentre il vicecampione del mondo si mette alle spalle David Lewis, Shaun Deeb e anche l’amico per la pelle Luigi Curcio che imbusta 92.000 gettoni. Ma se Curcio è andato a premio nel weekend, Dario ancora deve mettere le mani sul primo premio delle Wsop 2021. Può essere questa l’occasione giusta anche se, di sicuro, Sammartino punta sempre al top e alle prime monete. Va detto che manca in bacheca il Wsop bracelet anche se la seconda piazza nel main event di due anni fa vale molto di più di tanti altri risultati ed è finora quello più importante centrato da un italiano nel mondo.
Stasera il Day2 e dalle Wsop arriveranno gli aggiornamenti con la speranza di piazzare altri due itm.
