Bragg Gaming teams up with SuomiVeto ahead of Finland’s iGaming shake-up
Bragg Gaming Group has secured a major new partnership ahead of Finland’s upcoming iGaming liberalization, signing a long-term turnkey solution agreement with SuomiVeto, a new operator led by the founders of BetCity.nl.
The deal will see Bragg supply SuomiVeto with its full proprietary ecosystem, including the Player Account Management (Pam) platform, a fully managed sportsbook, exclusive and aggregated casino content, the Bragg Hub aggregation layer, and its award-winning Fuze Player Engagement tools. Bragg will also deliver managed marketing and operational services as part of the agreement.
The partnership is designed to position SuomiVeto as a leading operator when Finland opens its regulated online gambling market to private companies. License applications are expected to open in March 2026, with the market officially launching on July 1, 2027.
Bragg’s technology roadmap plays a central role in the agreement. Following the company’s announcement of its ambition to become an AI-first business by 2027, Bragg is developing tools to help operators comply with Finland’s expected regulatory framework. Through its 'Bragg AI Brain' and its partnership with Golden Whale, the company is building predictive models to monitor player behavior and support responsible engagement.
The Pam platform’s hyper-personalization capabilities are designed to help operators retain players while staying within Finland’s proposed restrictions on marketing and bonuses. AI-driven data enables targeted content delivery to existing player segments, aligning engagement strategies with local “moderate marketing” requirements.
On the content side, Bragg will leverage its in-house studios, including Atomic Slot Lab and Indigo Magic, to deliver localized games tailored to Finnish player preferences. These titles will be distributed via the Bragg Hub, allowing certified content to be deployed through a single technical integration and simplifying market entry for new operators.
Bragg brings a strong track record in newly regulated markets, having achieved around 30 percent Pam market share in the Netherlands and a solid early performance in Brazil following its market launch in January 2025.
Finland’s regulated online gambling market is expected to grow rapidly post-liberalization. With a population of 5.6 million and a highly digital economy, industry estimates place total online Ggr (casino and sportsbook combined) between €1.1 billion and €1.3 billion by 2027. The new framework will include a 22 percent Ggr tax rate, creating a stable environment for international suppliers and operators.
Notably, SuomiVeto’s founding team previously led BetCity.nl, which became a strong market contender in the Netherlands using Bragg’s Pam and full turnkey solution—making this partnership a familiar and proven collaboration as Finland prepares for regulation.
