Clarion Gaming deepens engagement with Spanish associations and partners ahead of ICE Barcelona 2026
The content team delivering ICE Barcelona 2026 has confirmed it is in the final stages of completing the official Agenda of activities dedicated to the Spanish gaming industry.
The programme, which will include sessions on illegal gambling, regulatory change, and Ibero-American cooperation, all underpinned by extensive networking opportunities, has been curated in collaboration with a wide range of partners including ANESAR, Policia Nacional, Jdigital, Acordjoc, CEJUEGO, Club de Convergentes, COFAR, Cumbre Iberoamericana del Juego, as well as many regional associations.
Speaking after participating in the 18th Congress of Castilla y Leon, Ewa Bakun, Clarion Gaming’s Director of Industry Insight and Engagement, said:
“We were thrilled to be able to connect with the key associations organising the event, in particular with Isabel Fernandez and Luis Gonzales, respectively the president and technical secretary of SAJUCAL.
I would like to congratulate the association on the success of the event that brought together so many industry professionals and to say how grateful we are for the hospitality extended to us.”
“The conference is a laudable example of cooperation between the local government, which regulates land-based gambling in the autonomous region of Castilla y Leon, and the private sector, which operates 115 gambling halls, over 16,000 machines in bars, three casinos, and 17 bingo halls, contributing 60 million euros in tax revenue to the local economy and generating around 2,000 jobs.”
Expanding on Clarion Gaming’s engagement programme, Ewa Bakun added:
“ICE has been built on a steadfast commitment to work with its community of stakeholders to deliver features and an at-show experience that meet their specific needs and requirements. Participating in events such as the Congress of Castilla y Leon and engaging directly with those closest to the sector allows us to gain vital insights into the issues shaping the Spanish market – from regulation and social responsibility to innovation and sustainability. These connections ensure that ICE Barcelona continues to grow in alignment with industry priorities and helps build a progressive future.”
The dedicated Spanish programme will take place in La Plaza, the feature area located in Hall 3 at Fira Barcelona Gran Via, from 19 to 21 January 2026.
