Eastern Europe and Central Asia in Focus as SBC Summit Tbilisi 2025 Opens Next Week
The Sheraton Grand Tbilisi Metechi Palace will host the 2025 edition of SBC Summit Tbilisi on 15–16 October, welcoming more than 2,000 senior industry executives for two days of strategic discussions, networking, and insights into the Eastern European and Central Asian gaming markets.
Organized by SBC in partnership with SMH Global, the summit will bring together operators, affiliates, suppliers, and regulators to explore regional growth opportunities, innovation, and multi-jurisdictional compliance.
A highlight of the event will be the special participation of World Cup winner and AC Milan legend Alessandro Nesta:

On 15 October, Nesta will deliver a keynote address on leadership and resilience,

On 16 October, he will join the panel “The Influence of Sports Icons in Gaming & Entertainment” alongside Dr Matthias Kirschenhofer (Sport1 Medien GmbH), Zurab Magalashvili (Adjarabet.com – Flutter Entertainment plc), Simon Westbury (1xBet), and Lasha Machavariani (SMH Global).
The two-day agenda features more than 60 international speakers, including Dainis Niedra (Entain), Giorgi Gvenetadze (Flutter CEE), Tom Waterhouse (Waterhouse VC), and David Japaridze (Setanta Sports), covering topics such as artificial intelligence, gamification, eSports, localized marketing, and regulatory compliance.
Day One will focus on compliance, regulation, and innovation, while Day Two will highlight sports, talent, and audience engagement, exploring partnerships, sponsorships, broadcasting, and new betting formats.
A strong regulatory presence is also confirmed, with representatives from Malta, Georgia, Estonia, Bulgaria, and Lithuania, along with Rombet, Romania’s leading association for responsible and regulated gaming.
