The organizing team of the Gaming & Technology Expo events updates the progress of the show, which will be held in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia, on April 9, 10 and 11 next year, and announces new developments and expansion for 2024.
Six months before GAT Expo takes place at the Cartagena Las Americas Convention Center, major companies such as Win Systems, EGT, BYA Group and Mer Design have confirmed their participation and are preparing to exhibit their machines and equipment for casinos. Exhibitors in the online gaming vertical that have taken the lead for GAT Expo Cartagena are Pragmatic Play, Vibra Gaming, Better Collective, Betconstruct, Endorphina, DS Virtual Gaming and Fast Track Solutions. In relation to Pragmatic Play, BetConstruct and Altenar, they land in Cartagena again in the category of Sponsors.
Next year's edition of the fair will have a special meaning, as it will celebrate 25 years of continuous existence since the first gaming industry exhibition was held in Colombia, also in Cartagena, in 1999. The celebration will be in style, shared with the founding brands as exhibitors and all the companies and executives that have joined the Gaming & Technology Expo events through the years, besides those who, due to the digital transformation of the industry and the opportunities offered by the markets of the region, join the most innovative and attractive commercial meeting in Latin America.
Industry multinationals, government regulators, leaders of Latin American associations and Colombian operators, as well as investors interested in expanding their business, are invited to participate in GAT Gaming Week. Traditionally, the most important associations in the country find the ideal place and time to hold their general assemblies and board meetings at GAT Expo Cartagena each year. During the first inspection visit to the Cancun Center, the venue chosen for GAT Caribe Cancun on November 27, 28 and 29, 2024, Jose Anibal Aguirre, CEO Gaming & Technology Expo, and Alexandra Hernandez, Marketing Director, stated that they have found optimal conditions for the execution of a new trade show in Mexico, with spaces already reserved for stands. In order to achieve the objectives proposed with this incursion into Mexico, important alliances have been established with associations and entities related to tourism, such as the Quintana Roo Tourism Promotion Council, dedicated to the promotion of meetings and incentive tourism (MICE). The GAT team in charge of this tour and the approval of the halls and spaces, is accompanied by the staff of City Group Arquitectura, strategic partner for the general production of GAT events and, in particular, the company that designs, builds and carries out the assembly and finishing of the stands, in the "turnkey" modality, very popular among exhibitors.
The 2024 Gaming & Technology Expo itinerary begins with the main event in Cartagena de Indias in April, arriving in Punta Cana on June 27 and 28, with important topics related to the control of money laundering and illegal gambling, exhibition booths and networking events. The tour of GAT events continues in the Colombian capital on September 5 with GAT Showcase Bogota, a one-day exhibition of casino equipment and online platform offerings for Latin America in the last quarter of the year. The debut of GAT Caribe Cancun is being planned in detail and the organization assures that it will have a very large audience in terms of participating brands, public and visiting operators.
